 Located in Hurricane, Utah near Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon North Rim, CHUMS has been ‘Helping you Hang On’ since 1983. Perhaps known best over the years for our Original Cotton Eyewear Retainer, or ‘CHUM’ we’ve since added many exciting goods to our line of outdoor gear. For over 20 years, the Red-footed Booby has loyally served as the CHUMS mascot. Friendly by nature, the Red-footed differs from other boobies. It makes its nests in small trees and shrubs in colonies rather than on the ground. This smaller variety is faster flying than the other boobies, and has been observed catching flying fish in mid-flight or diving as deep as 30 meters in pursuit of prey. So when you see Boo and Bee, our logo pair, you’ll be reminded of our small, friendly company and the CHUMS ability to stay above the rest. We continue to outmaneuver and outperform with our quality outdoor products and great service which you’ve learned to love and depend on.
